Brand and design system for a climate analytics platform
A technical platform with venture-scale ambitions and a logo from its first week. We built an identity that could hold complex data, then turned it into a system product and marketing could share.

The situation
Sales decks, product UI and the website each had their own visual language. Data visualisation carried the product but had no rules; colour choices failed contrast in dark mode.
The brief
One identity and one token set spanning marketing and product, with data visualisation rules that survive real dashboards.
How we worked
Direction
Two identity routes tested against real surfaces: deck, dashboard, report cover, website hero.
Tokens
Colour, type and space defined once; contrast measured for both themes before sign-off.
Data language
Chart palette, grid rules and annotation styles documented with do/don't examples.
Adoption
Component library adapted from their existing UI kit; two workshops for product and marketing.
Deliverables
What shipped at the end.
- Wordmark and monogram suite
- Brand guidelines (PDF + web)
- Token set shared by product and marketing
- Data visualisation rules
- Component library updates
- Template pack: deck, report, social
- Adoption workshops
Artifacts
Material from the engagement.
What we would measure next
The numbers we would watch with the team.
We do not publish outcome claims. These are the measures we handed over with the work.
- token coverage across surfaces
- visual drift in quarterly review
- contrast failures in audits
- time to assemble a new deck or report
Material
More from the engagement.

Positioning before pixels: the research pass most B2B redesigns skip
Most B2B redesigns fail before the first wireframe – because nobody agreed what the company is actually selling. Here is the research pass that fixes it.
Read articleDesign tokens are an operations problem, not a CSS problem
Teams rarely fail at token syntax. They fail at naming, ownership and the quiet drift that starts the week after launch.
